Red & Ted's Road Show

8 510 reviews

This game was part of Williams/Midway's "SuperPin" line of widebody games. Country singer Carlene Carter provided the voice of "Red". Carlene's song, "Every Little Thing", plays during the Multi-Ball and Jackpot modes, as well as the "Super Payday" wizard mode. Voice-over artist Tim Kitzrow provided the voice of "Ted". Another game with a talking head is Williams' 1990 'Funhouse'.

(Laminate on wood. The wood would first get a white vinyl laminated to it for printing purposes. A marker was used on letters 'ROA' to test a yellow color rather than white. The orange stripes and yellow letters were ultimately rejected by company management.)

Don't skill shot on the first plunge—hit a yellow standup (or yellow bumper) to switch the city to Miami (NYC is a risky & low scoring mode)

If Bob's Bunker on the DMD says "Uranium ore $3 a chunk", flip both flippers twice to start Construction Mania. All targets are 3M for 20s.

The "magic target" at the base of the top flipper awards free mode shots once per mode if you shoot bunker and don't flip the kickout.

The Start City Scene scoop or Blast Hole start modes. To relight start mode you need 400 miles (ramps, loops, scoops, etc.).
