Batman (Standard Model)
This is a lower-priced version of Stern's 2008 'Batman' with fewer playfield toys and with different software, and designer George Gomez states it is a completely different game to play. Reportedly, 48 of these games have been built as a marketing trial for sale in selected Costco Warehouse retailers. If successful, then more will be made, but with further cost-saving attributes. For instance, the cabinet may not be as thick as these first 48, which have the standard commercial-strength cabinet. Gary Stern, Chairman and CEO of Stern Pinball, Inc., refers to this cost-cutting version as the 'Standard' model, while the original version is the 'Pro' model.
Timing the the rollover in the shooter lane doubles the value of the lit shot for the ball (Joker, Scarecrow, or Batmobile).
Hold left flipper for super skill shot. Hit Joker, Batmobile or Scarecrow for 3X scoring (instead of standard 2x). Joker is most valuable.
Start Scarecrow crane sequence first, but do not complete. Start Joker MB. Now, complete Scarecrow, to stack Scarecrow MB with Joker MB!
