Lightning
The artist's signature can be seen in the light blue area above the right flipper on the upper playfield. Reportedly, it appears on the backglass in the black area to the left of the 4th player display. The English manual for this game was erroneously published with the playfield wiring schematic for Stern's 1981 'Freefall' instead of the one for this game. The correct one was stapled to the cabinet in one game, and we have modified our Schematics File to show it. Complete the drop targets to increase end-of-ball bonus and progress the rollover lanes. When all four rollover lanes are completed, shoot the horseshoe to increase bonus X. Bonus and bonus X carries for the entire game.
Lock balls for multiball at the upper playfield saucers. Release them by completing all nine standup targets (lit drop target banks in the order 1-2-3 spot standup targets that haven't been scored). Lock stealing is available.
Completing all nine standup targets starts multiball and also lights the horseshoe loop to increase the playfield multiplier up to 4x. This playfield multiplier lasts until the current ball ends.
Light extra ball by completing the drop target banks in order, from drop target bank 1 on the upper playfield to 2 and 3 on the lower playfield. Extra ball scores 100k in competition and is lit at the center drop target in any bank.
