Blast Off

8.5 15 reviews

The replay version of this game is Williams' 1967 'Apollo'. The chime box in backbox is made of wood, also found in other Williams games of this time period. The promotional photos for both 'Blast Off' and 'Apollo' show the playfield posts were yellow in color. One of the playfields pictured here has yellow posts, another one has white posts, while the rest of them have red posts. We presume the red ones came from the factory that way but we don't know when in production a change of color would have occurred. The production run quantity of 4,635 includes however many were made of Williams' 1967 'Lunar Shot', the version made for Italy.
