Reno

The manufacturers original playfield drawing (not shown here) is dated 5/29/57 and has the signed initials HEW. The manufacturer flyer for this 1957 game advertises the match feature as new, but Williams had been advertising the match feature on several games each year since 1953. The earliest instances of 1953 are bat games. The earliest flyer we have of a Williams flipper pinball machine indicating the end-of-game match feature is for Williams' 1955 'Race the Clock'. Reno, the third largest city in Nevada, is a popular gambling destination.
