Mercury

This game has the same playfield and artwork as Genco's 1950 'Rocket'. Genco's 1950 'South Pacific' has a similar playfield layout but with an extra switch between the flippers and no pop bumper. We previously showed Steve Kordek as the designer for this game. However, in 2011, Kordek told Chicago Expo founder Rob Berk that the designer of Genco's 1950 'Rocket' was Harvey Heiss, not Kordek. We now show Heiss as the designer for 'Mercury' which has an identical playfield layout as 'Rocket'. Production start date: 03/11/50 Production end date: 04/17/50 or 04/19/50
