Gold Strike
Playfield was produced by Gottlieb as a 1 player replay version called 'El Dorado', an Add-A-Ball version called 'Gold Strike', an Add-A-Ball version for Italy called 'Lucky Strike', a 4 player replay called 'Target Alpha', a 4 player replay game made only for France called 'Canada Dry', and a 2 player replay called 'Solar City'. Also later produced as Premier's 1984 4 player 'El Dorado City of Gold'. We have increased our confirmed production run quantity to include 16 Sample games produced in 1975 that were not part of the former quantity per handwritten documentation identified by Wayne Neyens as coming from Bob Malvasio, a draftsman for Gottlieb whose initials RHM can be found on schematics.
Target bank at bottom right advances bonus x when completed.
Completing the entire set of drop targets on the top lights hold bonus. Completing upper drops twice lights extra ball at the lower drops.
Drops are 500, lit drop is 5,000. Center rollover and lower left standup change lit rollover. Shoot the lit one!
Plunging for the upper right lanes can lead to a few quick bonus advances. Watch out for the feed at the bottom!
