The playfield was originally designed with two symmetrical plastic ramps. However, the left ramp was changed to be a wire habitrail. According to the manufacturer, the scoop has a powerful kickback that will propel the ball to hit the tip of the left flipper, if this flipper is energized in time, then deflect to the right flipper. Otherwise the ball will go SDTM. The manufacturer advertised that this game used an actual backglass instead of a translite. Separately, we have seen translites advertised for sale by Suncoast Arcade, their related company. Suncoast had indicated in an online forum that the first game shipped June 28, 2019. Subsequently, they decided to limit production to 100 games, at one point stating they were 15 to 20 machines short of this goal. Perhaps they meant orders taken, not games made. In September 2019 they announced that they were shutting down their pinball manufacturing. We don't know how many games were actually produced or sold. An online pinball forum member stated in October 2019 that he had called Suncoast and was told they built a total of 25 machines. While these games were intended to be serialized with numbered plaques, some games may have serial numbers that exceed 25. Additionally, at least one owner stated his game had no serial number plaque. We have also seen online reference to a "Signature Edition" limited to 50 machines but have no information on when in the timeline of production this marketing idea would have been employed. "Cosmic Carnival" was the only game from this manufacturer. MSRP when new: $5,995
